Hi. My name is Macey Dorough, I am Laurie's daughter. I am new to blogging, so don't compare me with my mom. I am probably going to be doing most of the blogging now, so you should start to get to know me. I am in third grade at Teasley Elementary School. I am nine now, my birthday was yesterday. I had the best birthday ever, but I'll tell you about that later, in another post.I like to read fiction books, some nonfiction. Some of my favorites include I am Malala, The Candymakers, and the Anistaisa Krupnik series.
I play basketball in the winter, just finished the season. We had so much fun!We (me and my dad) had a great team this year, and crushed the other team like a CAN! at our last game. The score was 46-11, in case you were wondering.
I also like to do crafts, like making paper snowflakes with my sisters, or make a hydraulic claw (crazy, right?).
I love doing stuff with my mom; we read books together, we go on dates, eat ice cream, eat in bed with each other, just me and my mom! I might also do some blogging with her!!!I am also starting to take interest in poetry, writing things like "Larry had a brother named Barry,who really was quite hairy."
I play the piano, I have an awesome teacher, Ms. Emmy. I do choir, too, with the amaaaazing Ms.
Jeanette, and handbells, with the talented Ms. Gwen....
As you can see, I lead a busy life, just like Mom. It's all fun, though. So is blogging!!!
Well, I hope you'll understand me now if I say something like "I'm now starting to feel a little sad, because I'm not glad. This is bad."
